In the winter, the main objective of the wash was to remove salt from the problem areas (the bottom) of the car. While my car appeared clean and salt free, the 'underwash' did not do it's diligence.
Today I went for a car wash. I was first in line. After waiting about five minutes and no attention I got out of my car and went looking for an attendant. There were now six cars behind me all aggravated. A woman approached me and said her son left to go cash a check. There was no one to operate the car wash. All six cars and I left. I think the owner needs to get his act together. I went to Green St. Car Wash and they did a great job.
I'm not sure if it's just the water in Milford (known for bad water quality) or if a filter needs to be replaced. The car wash is located in a convient place and the stalls are always clean but it's hard for me to want to continue coming back when my car looks like it needs another wash as soon as it dries.
I have used the self serve washing bays several times, and every time my car always dries with spots from dirty water.
At first I thought I wasn't giving it enough time to rinse the soap off but I made sure the last few attempts to dedicate a good chunk of time to strictly rinse. At $4 a wash it doesn't seem worth it for the limited time and dirty water.
I could wash my car better but its ok.
Horrible experience. Double charged me when I swiped my credit card, car was still a mess when I left. Better off taking your time and washing your car at home not on a timer and can use a better vacuum to reach small places in your car.
