Printers were not functioning for registrations. No updates as to when they would be working. Prior to arrival there was "no wait"
Got a spot right in front. The greeter was friendly and helpful and we were in and out in about 20 minutes. They even gave me tools to take my plate off. I just wish they had the screws to put the new plates on. Shout out to the garage across the street! A guy actually came over to my car at the registry and worked on it for a half hour. 11 year old screws!!! Thank you so so much for your help! Amazing!
Road Test Instructor is super rude and corrupt. So we went early and we were hanging at the rmv. Then suddenly this road test guy walks up to us and had the guts to confront that he saw me observing the route the previous road test applicant has taken. He then goes on and yells that even before we take the test, he will fail us regardless how we do in the road test. He clearly said that only way we can practice in exact road test route if we paid driving school and he said that he passed every single one from driving school - what does that supposed to mean? Obviously he is corrupt and he clearly implied he receives bribes from driving school. I wish I had a camera on and recorded and filed a complaint with AG to expose his corruption. Overall he was very very rude, no need to confront people and abuse when he is corrupt. If you are not going through a driving school, I would avoid this unpleasant and corrupt guy who expects money through a driving school in order to pass a road test applicant. Hope the State investigates this corrupt road test instructor sooner than later.

Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had in a government building. The lady at counter 2 with the curly hair really needs to be replaced with someone who will actually appreciate having a job. If you have to be stuck in her line, I am so sorry. Be prepared for her to send you to the back of the line for the most inane reasons. I hope she finds some happiness in her life that doesn't require making everyone mad. We have been here 4 times and she sends us away for no reason other than she is rude.
This is a joke. I likely need to go back to this awful place to get the issue resolved. Multiple calls to the DMV and about 6 hours on hold. The most inefficient system ever. Unfortunately they don't allow online submission of supporting documentation nor do they utilize email. MA is known for its educated population, countless colleges, and world class hospitals; unfortunately the state government still operates on an antiquated system. They wonder why the population is contracting - I'm ready to move out of state tomorrow.
Note - I rarely (maybe never have) give negative reviews so this is not just the type of person that complains.
I brought my daughter to take the written portion of the driving permit test. There are seven computers available but usually only is being used at any given time. The explanation I was given is that there is a single queue for all transactions. In other words if there were ten people queued in front of my daughter for a completely unrelated transaction such as registration renewal, my daughter and others waiting to take the permits test have to wait even though there are at least 6 test stations sitting idle. No one can be as obtuse, so I wonder if this process was established to minimize the number of transactions they have to process daily. The one star I have is for office higiene.
